About Us
The Greene Co Fishing & Hunting Club as chartered on March 26 1947 to promote and foster conservation of the natural resource of the state of Tennessee, and particularly of Greene Co. This includes stocking, restocking, propagating and protecting game and fish; assisting in the prevention of forest fires and stream pollution; maintaining and operating club grounds for most for the benefit of wildlife and fisheries; operating and maintaining shooting activities and engaging in all lawful activities incident to a fishing and hunting club. The corporation is organized under the statues of Tennessee providing for the the organization of corporations for the general welfare of society and not for profit.
Successful projects over the years include releasing quail, Turkey, and Canada geese. The club was instrumental in the success of the Andrew Johnson portion of the Cherokee Wildlife Management Area; establishment of the Nolichuckey Waterfowl Sanctuary and Environmental Study Area; placing a new boat ramp at Bird's Bridge; establishing the Tennessee License fee structure to assure the future viability of the wildlife agency and its programs , both game and non~game. The club is also dedicated supporter of the Boy Scouts of America shooting programs. The club is an affiliate of the National Rifle Association and the Tennessee Wildlife Federation, being three times presented the Outstanding Club award in Tennessee.

Fertilized yearly with great care taken to ensure the best fishing experience! Multiple areas available for easy access. The pond is stocked with bass, bluegill, catfish, and grass carp. Grass carp are catch and release only. A fishing license is required to fish.

Laporte regulation skeet machines. Open to the public Sunday's 1 to 3. 3.00 per round of 25 per members, 4.00 per round of 25 for non members. Closed for the winter until March 10, 2024

Walking Trails
Over 3/4 mile of pristine trails throughout our grounds doubling as fire breaks for our native grasses program.
